Default got a ticking noise..need help!!

hey guys. i have a white 2000 ss M6, all stock but lid and slp lm2 cat back. i have a ticking noise and i cant pin point it. i checked all the rockers and all pushrods but i cant find anything wrong. i tried listening to the rockers with a steathescope but i cant pinpoint weather it could be a lifter or not. all the pushrods are going up and down so i wouldn't think it would be a collapsed lifter but i'm new to LS'1s. here is how it happened.. i shut the car off at noon and me and my buddy installed a NX nitrous system. when we got it all wired up and ready to start i started the car at 7 and it was making the ticking noise..this is where i thought it was odd. could it maybe be a nitrous selenoid? the noise goes up with the motor. any help would be greatly appreciated guys!!!! if you have any questions just ask!

Thanks a lot,
Nick
