I bought some eBay white overlays for my car and they work great! The only downside is you won't see your stock lights through them. You'll have to upgrade to LED's which will probably run you another $20 or so. I used blue which looks great for the numbers, but don't light up the needles very well. I'm going to switch mine to white LED's and see if that works any better.

thanks...yea I like that location since I can see both the radar detector band and speed at the same time
also I love how the concealed display has different color leds for each of the radar bands so that I can tell them apart at night.

also, I had white gauges in my old 99 bird. How have you guys solved the problem of taking off the needles? I took mine off for my gauges and fugged everything up and the gauges were off by a good amount. I'm too paranoid to do that on my new one
