Default Steel Retainers for Patriot Golds?

Yo, in lue of my old thread, are there any steel retainers that will work with the patriot gold dual springs?

The titanium rets used in patriots are...

Retainer Material: Titanium
Retainer O.D.: 1.235"
Retainer Step 1 O.D.: .905"
Lock Type: Machined 7 Degree
Retainer Step 2 O.D.: .650"

Anything out there that will work? Thanks.

Why? Titaniums are better for lighter effective mass.

Was your other thread on titanium wear? Look at it this way, there are a zillion sets of these springs out there, how many titanium retainers have failed? I have never read of a single one. Does titanium wear more than steel? Yes. Is it a concern for the Patriot's? I wouldn't worry about it unless you have an oiling issue or something out of whack. You will occasionally have to pull the springs to either replace them or to inspect them. Just make the retainer part of the inspection.
