Quick easy question, msd 2-users come in

Is the MSD 2-step for ls motors actually a real 2-step with a high side limiter as well, or does it only control launch rpm? I've looked around and couldn't find an answer?

Only for launch RPM. I wired mine to the clutch switch. It's activated when the clutch pedal is pressed.
