what gears w/pt4400

what gears w/pt4400 i have 3.23's now and was wondering if i needed 3.73's real soon for the converter?? and how long you think my rear end will last with that stall?? i have about 90k on it now... and does that T?A girdle help a lot?? i have heard but not real sure how good they really are!! thanks, dwayne

I have a PT and have stuck with the 3.23. I have read a lot of posts on this subject and most agree that the gains in the 1/4 by moving up to 3.73 from 3.23 with that converter will be minimal.

what about 4.10's? could i put them in my stock 10 bolt?and where would be the best place if i could?? and would 4.10's be worth all the trouble and high rpm's for a daily driver?? thanks, dwayne

i dont even want to think about getting a rear end right now, much less a 12 bolt... thanks for the info... so i should stay with the 3.23's then?
