i have 3.23's now and was wondering if i needed 3.73's real soon for the converter?? and how long you think my rear end will last with that stall?? i have about 90k on it now... and does that T?A girdle help a lot?? i have heard but not real sure how good they really are!! thanks, dwayne

The 3.23's will work. 3.73 will help with better drivebility but they are not a "must".

I have a PT and have stuck with the 3.23. I have read a lot of posts on this subject and most agree that the gains in the 1/4 by moving up to 3.73 from 3.23 with that converter will be minimal.

I only went with 3.73's when I bought my 12 bolt. Figure the gears made up for the extra 36lbs added by the new rear.

what about 4.10's? could i put them in my stock 10 bolt?and where would be the best place if i could?? and would 4.10's be worth all the trouble and high rpm's for a daily driver?? thanks, dwayne

4.10's will help with drivebility.. but will weaken the rear.

I suggest sticking with stock gears (smaller tires) till you can upgrade to a 12 bolt.

Yeah, 3.23's with 26x10.5 ET Streets should do the trick
