Default is it hooked as hard as possible if....

if the car is hanging the bottom of the front wheels 8-12" off the ground is it hooked as hard as it can and has it transfered as much weight as possible?

to me it would make sense that it has but physics may dictate other wise.

please only experienced racers/tuners reply
(if you car isnt atleast in the 8's you have no business here )

Have no idea.

We just keep hitting it harder and harder and it keeps taking it.
We havent found the limit yet.
1.20 60' is our best so far on a 275dr

We are still on Madman's inital setting for rear shocks and Tq arm settings.
We also 4 corner scaled the car.

Mid season we started getting on it harder and the front end started to come up a little high so we took another inch of travel out of the front end and it got it back under control.

Wait ... what was the question again? lol

To make everyones head hurt what if all for tires are off the gound on a lauch.... going striaight.... front wheels not that high off the ground...... There is a pic of Mike Morans car going around doing this .

On subject why would it matter if it has transferd all of it's weight if you know it is hooking as hard as it can.......? If it is hooking as hard as it can and you know this then why would you think that is is not moving all the weight?

I have never been a fan of lifting the tires at all unless you have to and then very little...... just greates more drag.

I guess you would need to determine at your power and weight what your car should do in the 60ft and go from there to improve on it

In a perfect world you want to lighten the front tires but not pull them off the ground. Wile it is minimal the time you are lifting the front you aren't going forward as fast as possible. It equates to spinning the tires because the power is lifting the car not making it go forward.

If you are lifting the front you are making all the traction you possibly can so yes it is hooking as hard as possible. That is with-in measurable limits.
