Steering Shaft & U-joints

Steering Shaft & U-joints Has anyone replaced the stock steering shaft and u-joints for aftermarket pieces?? Headers are sitting on the shaft and I dont want to dent or cut up the headers.
Does anyone know the size of the shaft that comes out of the rack and pinion and hooks up to the steering shaft u-joints?? What size is the end of the steering column end that connects to the u-joints?? If I have the sizes I can get flamming river to build a set for more header clearence.
