Hey guys, I used a stock Camaro Z28 tank w/pump, pickup, and sender in my Datsun Z 6.0 LS swap.
I want to have a working gas gauge, but don't know which Auto Meter Sport-Comp gauge will work correctly (2 5/8 or 2 1/16").
If I knew what the full/empty ohm ranges are suppose to be I could figure it out on my own.
Thanks guys!!

I do not believe one exists to directly work with the Factory sender, but a programmavle one is supposedly available.
Never tried one before to know for sure.
The tank is 40 to 250 ohms.
I can get a replacement level sensor to fit your tank with 0-90 ohms (that works with a standard gauge), but they are approx. $150.

I thought there was different years that had different sending units?

Its cool guys. Auto Meter sells a programmable fuel gauge for $100+. I guess that's what I'll be buying when the time comes.

Sending units & level sensors varied greatly in design through the years, but there were only 2 different level sensor ranges in all Camaro's made.
Up through '97 was 0-90 ohm & '98 up was 40-250 ohm.

Something like this should work, correct?
