Default LS1 oil pump replacement. pump choice???

Ok from looks of it , the oil pump is shot and needs to be replaced. I noticed some noises near the bottom end and saw my pressure gauge acting up when i slowed down and when i accelerated. The biggest was when i was sitting still and the pressure slowly began to fall but luckily i made it home and didnt tear any **** up.
The car is a 95 Z28 with a 98 LS1 from a T/A and has about 125,000 miles on it. Ive been driving the car just fine for about a year and a half now with the conversion but because the LS1 sat up for over a year, various parts have randomly gone out.
What kind of oil pump should i get? Ive heard the stock 98, 99, 00 oil pumps didnt produce much pressure as the newer ones and arent as reliable. Also what else you i think about replacing since im gonna have it torn apart like that? Im not camming it. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

My Mellings came in so I won't need my stock LS1 oil pump. It only has a few thousand miles on it.
