Conversions & Hybrids - Front Mounting a C6 6L80E transmission

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to take a rear mounted 6L80E from a C6 Corvette, and using a bellhousing and tailshaft from a 6 speed truck or camaro, mount it directly to the motor.

im wonderin the same thing just with the manual. it seems there are alot of used vette transmissions out there for less money than a used t56 from a camaro or something. i know youd have to purchase a bell housing and possibly a tailshaft and housing maybe... would it be worth it? im new to the ls engine and swapping but ive got time, but limited funds so am looking for a less expensive way to do this swap
