317's for 600rwhp?
Would the stock 6.0l 317's (with good springs) be safe to use for my goal of 600rwhp on my 383, stalled-A4, combo. Lookin to go front mount single turbo @ 76mm-possibly an 88mm. I would like to only push about 15-20#'s for this goal, or less if possible.
The short block is a forged and studded 383 with a 8cc dished pistons in a Ls1 alum. block. I will be getting a custom grind cam for the application. So what do you think?
Hell yea!....or..... I don't think sooo!

All ya need is stock... just throw some good springs on em and youll be good to go. You wont need all that boost either... youll hit your goal with WAY less boost than youre planning.

I have Patriot LQ9 heads on a Procharged D1SC stock 347 CI with 224/228 114 LSA with Yank py3400 to Performabuilt Level III 4LE60 to Moser 12 bolt. LS6 intake.
Safe 16 degree SD tune - 4.38 8 rib pulley at around 9 lbs of boost. AlkyControl pump is still disconnected.
565 rwhp on a Mustang Dyno.
Can get more with a smaller pulley (4.25) but still have stock pistons - so 565 rwhp is as far as I went for now until I forge the block or go with a forged 370.
600 rwhp is SMALL horsepower now days with FI with simple setups.

bone stock crank, rods, pistons, block... WCCH 317's 805rwhp on a load dyno... You'll be just fine with them, and the 317's will exceed your goal with the rest of the setup optimized...
