Tunnel brace

I 'd like to know how many people took off the tunnel brace behind the crossmember mines awful close to the exhaust and sure seems to flimsy to do anything and in the name of weight reduction every pound counts

I have been without one for about the past 5 years!
Took it off when I fitted headers as it was resonating really badly, exaust pipe was too close so I unbolted it at the side of the road & not had a problem since.
