General Maintenance & Repairs - :( headlight troubles

I just replaced my driver side low beam a few weeks ago, maybe 2-3 tops. This morning, I flip on the lights to pull out of the driveway and see my reflection in another car :( :( :( it is out again! Is this a common problem, or maybe I just got a bad bulb?? I know for a fact it was working after I installed it. Thanks.

Same thing happens to me, and it is driving me nucking futs! Check the plug to the headlight housing. Mine keeps melting, and it's $35 a pop from GM.

Yea. I've had this problem and there are also some similar posts over the last year. I think Sylvania shipped a bad batch of bulbs from Mexico/China/Wherever.

If you have the original package, receipt, etc. they have a warranty where they will provide you a replacement. Instructions are on the box.

damn! too late for that. i always put the old bulb in the box to throw it away. sounds like i am boned on this one because it is a sylvania. thanks for the info though, i WILL be keeping the box for my next bulb haha.

As long as you have the receipt from your original purchase, you are good. You can always use the box from your new bulb.

My drivers side burns out every fall. I think I have a short.
