Exclamation problem after installing gears...weird noise

I just finished installing 3.90 gears in to my 94 A4 10bolt. The problem i am having is that when i left off the gas and turn the steering wheel towards the right while making a turn, the rear end makes a weird grinding noise. And the farther towards the right i turn the louder the noise gets. It sounds like the posi unit but I'm not sure. And this only happens when making right turns while the car is decelerating. Does anyone know whats happening or how to fix it?? Any help or comments would be great!!
Thanks

It could be your posi unit .Maybe you bent 1 of your backing plates or the E- brake is screwed up .I wish I could be more helpful .but is hard to diag without being there . Good Luck !!
