Default BIG headers...........

whats the biggest set of headers youve seen for 4th gen fbodys? im thinking of building a set of 2 inch with 4 inch collectors, out of 304 stainless, has anyone done this yet? links or pics please....

Well all I can say is I hope you have a big cubic inch motor. If your on an regular 346 then it will be pointless to have those on there, it will proably hurt performance. Or you can go with the 1 7/8 if you just have to have bigger but I wouldn't recommend using the 1 7/8 unless your over 400 cubes.

yea, i was just gonna build them to sell em, im only 346, i wanna build a set of 304 stainless, possibly polished, w oval collectors and oval y pipe

Those would be **** if fit and finish was excellent.

Don't listen to those who say it will "hurt" performance. They would obviously be for the larger CI guys looking for the best exhaust flow possible, and those would be the TICKET.

I'm not sure about the collector size but KOOKS makes a 2" header.

kooks 2" primary 3 1/2 collector SS $800 to your door, if you can compete with those prices get all over it

yea, we own a fab shop tht builds sheetmetal intakes and exhaust systems, weve done some turbo manifolds for hondas and whatnot, but no n/a headers, our supplyer that we get our stuff from sells the oval tubing thats two inches thick and has the same flow of a 4 1/2 inch pipe, i cant believe that kooks are that cheap, i thought theyre regular headers were more than tht. neone got links?
