Default Can you recommend a shop in Annapolis with a dynojet?

One that is close to the airport. Thinking of flying in for a purchase and would like to verify that it makes the power it should before I purchase it and drive it home to Indiana.

The seller would be picking us up at BWI.

Thanks....

Don't know of any in Annapolis (I work there) but PSI in Glen Burnie is real close by. PM "grannyshifting" on here. He's the owner. Has a Mustang dyno and works with LSX cars.

Thank you very much. I'll PM him.

If anyone else has other options, I'd be open to them to, as I may be needing to do this on a Sunday, which may be tough to pull off.

Ya I forgot about Every Last Detail. (ELD) Doubt they're open on Sunday tho. Jeff may be willing to meet you then..?? Jeff's is Mustang dyno but it can be recalibrated to work like a dynojet I believe.

Spoke with Jeff @ PSI. Super nice guy. I didn't realize their shop was about 1 mile from the airport. I will be flying in on Tuesday and going to PSI then. Got two, one way tickets from Indianapolis to BWI for $203 total. Thanks for the help on this, very, very much appreciated!

Jeff @ PSI has a mustang dyno and it reads on the low side compared to a Dynojet. Jeff is pretty easy to work with and should be able to handle what you need.

ELD has a Dynocom and it reads stupid high.

Either go to PSI in Glen Burnie. They've got a Mustang dyno.

Or go to Extreme Motorsports in Odenton. They've got a DynoJet, but it's a DSM shop.

Both are <10 minutes from BWI.

I thought Extreme closed after the fire last year?

Really? I was there not too long ago. I used to live near that shop and it seems like there was and endless stream of EVOs pulling out of that business park looking to run me as I drove by.

Extreme is opening soon. Nov 27. I'm not sure how you can contact them to see if the dyno will be operable by next week.

http://www.extrememotorsports.com/StoreClosed.aspx

While they're a DSM shop, they've dynoed everything and started doing domestic installs before the fire. Heck, they even have a copy of HPtuners.

Guys,

I'm ruined. I drove a stalled/built auto car last night. I've been a stick man for 18 years. For a daily, this seems like the right move for me. I couldn't beleive how hard it hooked on regular all-season radials. As a daily, I will be on radials, so it's a stalled/auto for me.

I called the seller of the stick car (SS) and appologized for backing out, but he was very, very cool about it.

Thank you very much for your willingness to help me find a shop.

Well, the search is on for a clean, unmolested auto Z with t-tops and then the parts ordering will begin.

Thanks,
John
