Default mostly stock lt1 with wet nozzle mounted infront of the maf?

friend of mine hase a 95 lt1 z28 with a flowmaster weld in muffler and a cai with hard intake elbow and supposedly thats it. well he has a NX (i think) wet kit with the nozzle mounted infront of the maf meaning the fuel and nitrous is blowing through the maf. the car seems to run pretty well and was just wondering what yalls thoughts were on this?? i always though on wet kits the nozzle mounts after the maf??

Not the sharpest tool in the shop!

READ the instructions for nitrous instals! or do a search on nitrous instal pics, you will NEVER see a set up like that

^^^ Agreed. If he has a hard intake elbow, then he should have just tapped into that. What size shot is he running... just out of curiosity.

Just like everyone else said, if its a wet kit it needs to be moved after the maf.

I dont understand how the car is not in limp mode due to damagaing the mass air meter. Only explanation is that its tuned in speed dencity and the maff is not working..

If it isnt and he is just one of those guys with luck on his side its about to run out.

All you can do is try. Sometimes people just don't listen and at the end of the day its his car. Hopefully he listens to this post though.

Yes. What year vehicle is it? If its OBDII you can run our microedge/interface combo. Pull timing and window switch along with a bunch of extras.

Ray,

I think he is referencing his own car according to his post. Which if you look at his sig it says its a 1997 formula m6 lt1. Pretty sure its OBDII

maybe I need to go back to school and work on my reading comprehension...but I take it as he is asking about a friends car...lol

either way I would not be running a wet kit through the MAF

But if he does want the box for his own car it will be OBDII
