Yea, you got me beat, but i did it with a 150K mile L98 TPI engine converted to carb! LOL.

That, and some Duct Tape, Not the grey stuff, the black stuff. It has more tensile strength that helps negate the sheering force caused by racing.

Torsens are great for street driving/auto-x/roadrace, but should avoid any sort of exposure to driveline shock such as drag racing. Reason being is the case is far weaker than something like an Auburn. Mine wasn't as bad, but after two launches with drag radials the case cracked in half. Got an Auburn and it lasted far longer than anything else in the diff.

LOL at 10 bolts as well, and LMAO @ the AUbrn pro series diffs too...sorry to see it happen, hope you saved up for a SD60, 9" or a 12 bolt of some kind..the fastest way to get back on the street is maby scrounge one from a parts yard. wish i had tekn pictures of the (2) auburn pro series diffs i grenaded..along with the 2x sets of 3:73's...now i have a moser 12 bolt and 3:73 gears..no worries for me!

It looks like it was already welded in two of the pix, that could be why it blew apart.
