Porting vortec 7400 heads I understand the intake is fine on these,but the exhaust has a tumble port thats restrictive.Whats the best way to port these without giving much bottom end?The motor is going in a truck,but it will be driven like a car and have a auto behine it.
I already have a zz502 cam and 4bbl holley street intake.

after actually learning how to port heads, and doing both Vortecs and GT-40's, You cant ask how to port a given head. You just gotta know what its supposed to look like and do it. Some heads give you more work with than others. You just got to deal with what you have, and work it based on what you have learned.
