I have an ly6 6.0 with l92 heads, ls3 intake and want to lose the vvt. How will an ls7 cam work in this motor? I know the cam will work with new timing gear/chain and cover but will it help performance. I understand that aftermarket cams would be the best choice but I have an ls2 and ls7 camshafts.
