Default B&B for corsa

thinking of ditching the corsa for a B&B set up, but i am noticing a lot of the high end exhaust that say they are 3 inch are only 3 inch to the muffler are 2.5 inch out of the muffler (magnaflow for example)

and i think that kind of restriction will really bottle neck the 414 im running

my reason for this is the corsa is super loud (long tubes and ORY) and i want to see if i can quite it down a little without loosing a lot of power here is the car now

what do you guys think

if you have a 3 inch in, and dual 2.5's out, you are fine. 2.5 + 2.5 = 5" you dont need dual 3" comming out of the back, wouldnt flow any better. Also keep in mind that you need some back pressure to create some low end torque.

if there is flow restriction it would be in the design of the muffler or the pipes leading up to in/out of it much more so than the .5" size difference.
