Default really loud whinne

i have a really bad whine during decel in my 10 bolt i mean so loud with my radio up all the way you can still hear it when i let off the gas. i baught a bearing kit because i figured it was it but some one told me you can wear a pattern in the teeth causing the edges to get sharp and then causes the whine is that common? it doesnt clunk or bang it just whines and only when im coasting or off the gas

Time for a freshening thats for sure. If money permits, I would throw new gears in it.

The whine you are hearing is most likely a bearing going out, probably a pinion bearing. If you reuse the gears, there is a chance they will whine slightly, since you are changing the contact pattern on the teeth. If setup properly, they should still be relatively quiet.
