so UMI is having a huge sale and im going to order my SFCs tomorrow from summit...i want to go with the 2 point...for less weight, and easier exhaust fit, and i want to go with boxed weld in because there the more sturdy than tubular bolt in or weld in....i just dont know which one to go with because theres like a thirty dollar price difference in the choices ??? someone help me out

Can't got wrong with boxed weld-ins. I don't know why anybody gets bolt in ones, do you really ever remove them?

Thanks for the interest and I will be glad to help.

Our tubular weld in and boxed weld are about a $15 difference during the sale, with the boxed being the more expensive of the two.

Both styles would work just fine for any application. The tubular style is 4lbs lighter than the boxed style and also tuck up a little better into the car. Boxed style hangs down below the pinch of the car approximately 3/8" and can be seen from the side fot he car. I know some people like this and some don't.

yes acctually 4 lbs. lighter is enough to make me think..will the tubular be plenty strong for me ?...do i need the boxed really...i dont care about seeing them or whatever. i want to go with the lightest, but enough strength.

For people that dont wont to weld on there car and if you ever might put the car back to stock you can just take them off. Also for people that dont have a welder can just bolt them up.

Yes the tubular style will be just fine and there is no strength issues. The tubular style requires a little less welding and fab time.. that is why they are priced less.

i noticed the chromoly tubular ones exactly like the regular tubular ones are 100 dollars more expensive...is this necessary ?

Those are for someone who wants a lighter and stronger sfc. Unless your running some badass times at the track I wouldnt waste the money.

one more question, do i need adjustable LCAs or can i just go with the non-adjustable ?

If you lower the car you will need adjustable lca's to center the wheels in the well.
