Multimedia Exchange - Thinking about changing the color of my ZO6

What's up guys? :)

Well in the last two months I've been thinking about changing the color of my 01 ZO6 From Millenuim Yellow to Speedway White the reason for this the dealers around here didnt sell any 01-04 C5 ZO6 so we only have 7 C5 ZO6s Around here that we know of so the car is really rare not like 06+ C6 ZO6 they're everywhere :shrug: but now there is 3 Yellow C5 ZO6 + 1 Black + 1 silver + 2 red...

SO I WANNA BE RARE AGAIN :cool: and Speedway white only came in 01 ZO6 so its the only choice or I'm keeping the yellow...

I'm still not sure if I'm doing this or not but I'd like to see what you guys think???

I Already have same front canrads, Side Skirts, and spoiler but I will keep my MCM Hood with black center and the rear will stay black too (No Mercy's old 01 ZO6

IMO Build the car for YOU, not your neighbors.

I personally love the MY. Can't say I'm not a fan of the speedway white either.. But if it came in yellow, keep it yellow. I'm looking for an MY or SW when I get back to the states.

If you have the cash to blow, go ahead.

Love white on C5's but i say go even more rare :D JET STREAM BLUE, JET STREAM BLUE, JET STREAM BLUE :D lol nah i'd leave it but if you really want to go white go for it ;)

It's funny that you chose white for the poll because even before clicking on this thread, I was going to say that I would get a Z06 and paint it white if I ever got one.

I'd keep it just the way you've got it...yellow is pimp!

ahh.... I dont know about white? you dont see to many white Vettes driving around. but yellow just looks better then white? you have a second choice of color?

heres some of my favorite colors... sorry there C6 but you get the picture (personally nothing is better then a blacked out Corvette, thats just me though)

Blacked out you say? :D mines not 100% cause any tint over 50% and smoked tails are illegal in MN but for now this is the best i can do ;)~Cole~

I say do it...White looks amazing on the C5 Z's, and with your hood center blacked out as well as the rear, I think it would look good as hell.

I see 3 options here.
1. Look around for a genuine white c5 z06 and get rid of the yellow car.
2. Leave it yellow and just customize it to your own look.
3. And this is why I suggested finding a real white z06. If you are going to spend the cash to repaint the car (that obviously is in great shape) go with a custom color and make it truly unique. Don't repaint it another factory color.

I dont like the spoiler and shit on that white vette. Sometimes less is more. I say keep yours the way it is.:D

yea its illegal in California also... but it just all depends on the cops I guess. I have had mine tinted for about 1 half years or so & have been pulled over for other things :secret2: but they never said anything about my taillights or other driving lights being blacked out & we all know how California cops are ;)

A pearlescent white would look amazing on a C5Z IMO.

I HATE yellow and love white so my choice is obvious. :D
