I'm guessing you mean idle? Possibly your throttle position sensor. I have had the same issue before.

what about the timing? I know that a lot of timing will change the idle of a car. And just because the IAC valve is plugged in and reported numbers doesn't mean it is working.

Scan tool. Then come back and report what you find instead of guessing.

Doest have to throw a code. Hook up a scanner and watch the fuel trims as you spray. The bottom of my intake was cracked and idled high. When you sprayed brake/carb cleaner the idle didnt really change but the trims sure did go nuts.

If you have the idle screw too far out trying to get it to idle lower it will stick. Dont forget to reset your IAC. Have you done that yet?

try checking to make sure the intake is torqued down properly. I'm having the same issue on my car, and I'm going to try that this weekend.
