Default HEIDTS upper and lower tubular control arms??

I've had these for about 2 years and haven't installed them on my 79 Z28 cause I was waiting to buy the 2'' drop spindles and install all at once...
My question is how much improvement over stock are they? Has anyone used these on their 2nd gen?
Also I have 15X3.5 Weld Draglites in the front, so am I just wasting my time installing these on this setup, should I just sell them or can I benefit from these in a drag setup?

Probably just not enough people with 2nd gen experience on this board.

Probably not going to see any difference in a straight line. I believe the Heidts arms are designed to improve the caster gain a bit during hard cornering which you won't have to worry about going straight.
You may as well use 'em. You won't get the money out of them that you paid so stick 'em on. They do look nice.

Actually, the added static caster can help with stability in a straight line. I think, from memory, they add the basic 5 degrees of caster built in. Improvement over stock? Just from the added static caster. I don't think there's much weight loss compared to stock either.
