can this rebuild kit work on my 01 f-body ? Hello,
Last week I have played alot with my toy loool .. and when I'm coming back home I hear ( wooop wooop woop wooop ) coming from the rear end when release the gas
My friend told me that it might be the bearings so I have found this rebuild kit from richmond on SummitRacing

but it shows from 82-98 !! .. so can it be used on my 2001 ?
or (98) mean the last year of the 10 bolt rear end ?

it will work, they made a pinion seal change for 01 and 02. I dont understand all the nonsense with the years on the rebuild kits. I used the same number Motive kit for a 94, a 00, and 2 01s. My 01 was the only one that the pinion seal didnt fit. The other 01 was a super early year production so it got a 00 seal in it.
