Quite a few people do, but the stock driveshaft is weak and is prone to breaking. When these driveshafts break they usually turn into a pretzel, and often take out the exhaust sytem and put holes in the body floor. Spend the cash and get the PST driveshaft! I have one with my Moser 9inch and so far its take a whole season of 7k clutch dumps dead hookin on M/T slicks.

well the thing id i dont have the money to get one right this moment so i was just wondering if it would be fine to run the stocker.

It'll be fine for the time being, as long as you dont plan on launching hard on sticky tires.
