Default Finish Line Transmissions

My stock tranny is starting to slip a little and im wanting to get a good transmission with a warrenty. Im leaning toards Performabuild but i ran across Finish Lines website and was wondering if anyone is running a Finish Line transmission and how durable/reliable they are. Thanks!

They are one of the best with proven results. Do a search for FLT in this section for some results. I run their Level IV in my TA with zero problems.

I also run the Level 7 FLT with no issues. 4050lbs with driver and it runs 9.38@154mph. Finish line has these transmissions figured out!

Alright so an FLT with a Yank would probably be a strong/reliable setup?

Just wanted to chime in and add something. Currently no matter what special FLT or Yank are running, if you purchase a Yank converter and have it shipped to FLT with the purchase of a transmission, you will get free shipping on your converter to FLT to be tested with your new FLT transmission. Also Yank will give you an additional $50 off the price of your converter. Make sure to mention this when ordering! Thanks to Yank for adding to our specials! Vince

My buddy has there stage 4 4l60e in his car and has been running mid 10's on it for 3 years now. Still runs as strong as the day he got it, only thing he has had to do to it is change the fluid. Plus both chuck and vince are cool guys they broke in the new converter on there tranny dyno. And let us hangout in the shop while they were finishing the tranny up.

I think a FLT and Circle D combo work great as well. We have numerous options for the LS engines. What are the specs on your car and what are you looking for in a converter?

Just going to be bolt-ons for now but i was thinking about going with somewhere between a 3600-4000 becuase cam and heads are right down the road. The car isnt my DD but i still want very good street ability. Will i have any problems with a 3600-4000?

Sounds like you need my 4C. Rated a 3600-3800. Perfect for your setup and needs. We could go a little more aggressive with a 5C, but might be a bit much for you. We do offer an included stall change so we can always bump it later to be more aggressive. Free shipping got FLT of course!!

My vette runs an FLT 4L60E coupled with a Yank 11" and dynos about 850 RWHP, thats about 1,000HP at the motor and as most of you know it runs fine on the street and at the drag strip. 9.21 @ 152 on Hoosier Slicks, I can get 60's about 1.30 off the foot brake. I finished the 2009 season in Pro Dominator a IMSM class #6 in the points! The Finish Line Transmission has been my choice since 2002 in this car.

I just had a level 5 4l65e built by FLT. Haven't run any big power (~500rwhp) through it yet since it I installed it at the end of summer and the car is now in storage. But so far I am very happy with it.
