Default pros/cons of stiffer rear shocks

other than obvious ride harshness....

what disadvantage do stiffer rear shocks have?

trying to minimize bottoming out on rougher roads now that i'm lowered. there are a few dips (after coming off a bridge) that i've head a slight scrape on.

if i'm not mistaken i'm 1 turn from full soft on my Konis.

Koni's SA's don't adjust compression, just rebound. Rebound is the extension of the shock and will do nothing to keep the car from compressing the same way it does. That's a spring rate/compression damping thing.

Ride harshness is always subjective to ones own opinion. Ideally you want a good compression setting to handle your unsprung weight. Too much can make the shocks cause a harsh ride. Too little could cause you to impact full suspension travel too hard causing a harsh ride. Unless you have koni DA's or KYB's then you probably can't adjust compression
