Default Will 2005 V Volant intake fit 2006?

Planning to go pick up a used Volant intake tonight. Its from a 2005 LS6 V, will it fit on my 2006 LS2. Thanks

I am planning to meet the guy tonight so if anyone knows that would be great I dont wanna get it and have it not fit.

It will fit but it has no hookup for the small hose that runs from the valve cover to the stock intake tube.

also, you couldve checked volants site or even verified part numbers and compared.

Ya I actually called Volant and checked the part numbers. They said the difference was the line going to the intake tube. So I figured I would just add a boss for the line. But once I got the intake it has a nipple with a cap on it anyway.

yes it will work but if i were you i would go with the K&N

Volant is better then K&N. It is all the same sort of intake, but Volant has a better heat shield design.

That why I went with the Volant and $175 isnt a bad price either.
