I was hit in the rear by a drunk driver a couple of weeks ago. I bought the car back from insurance company. I know it's going to have a salvage title now, but wondering if it's repairable? I'm looking in Austin for a good cheap body shop to see if anything can be done. If not I'm just going to sell the car without parting it out.
Thanks

that sucks dude. i work at a body shop. judging by the buckles so far forward in the 1/4's, there might be damage to the rear uni-body/trunk floor, maybe even to the rear seats. but repairing that isnt goin to be cheap. look for a quality body shop. body repair/panel replacement isnt something you wanna cheap out on. also you can put it on jack stands or jack it up a good ways and look at the damage yourself. even take pics of everything. hope this helps

When i got backed into by a drunk driver ( drivers side 1/4 ) It was 5600 for them to fix it.. ( good shop ) they replaced the 1/4 and rear bumper.. theres like 500+ tack welds holding that 1/4 on each side, and having to replace both of them is going to be major bux.. so good luck with it.

Its going to cost way more than it would be worth it. You could easily buy another one for the amount of time and money you going to put into the wrecked one. Part it out now and good luck.

I have a friend who wrecked it like yours and just bought a rear clip (frame) and had them welded together. He had some subframe connectors welded in as well. Cant even tell as long as everything is straight.
Or just buy a cheap v6 and swap all your parts over.

Thanks for the help guys. Yeah I believe the frame is crushed.on one side. When I crawled under I could see that. I'm starting to see it might cost too much to fix.

Sorry to hear that, I can relate. Your car looks a lot like mine did when mine got hit. Estimated $9300 without pulling panels off.
