Need help! i have 2 issues with my car currently.
specs:
01 b4c/z28 a4
remanufactured 4l60e at 119k mi. currently 130k
issue #1
The car in first gear manly has no power whatsoever.
the transmission really doesnt slip, but when at wot the rps go up as normal, but the car really doesnt take off or go anywhere..until after it hard shifts into second, then the car will go.
now would this be the result of a dying 10 bolt rear? or am i looking at a transmission problem?

The car has the infamous lifter tick. now, with this i was planning on tearing it apart this summer and replacing the lifters. while i was tearing it apart i was planning on putting in a cam that would go well with the stock heads. i heard the comp cams 228r was good for an auto?
if so what all parts should i buy to be good supporters of the cam? on a budget of about 1k
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!
