Default looking to which rear end to buy

i want a rear end with a posi i have a 82 el co i hear grand national have them or should just get a 12 bolt with a posi

The larger G Body 10 bolt rear is much stronger than what are used in the 4th gen F Body, provided you can find one. Back in the early '90's I used one from a Monte Carlo SS in my '79 Malibu. The G Body rears all interchanged. A stick car with a lot of power would be better off with a 12 bolt though. Bob

do u know where i might be able to buy one id rather have the 10 bolt if its cheaper price for now then upgrade later

Your best bet would probably be to get on the G Body forums, maybe a Buick turbo forum, and look in the for sale section. Bob
