I have a 2002 z28, I have a ls6 long block being shipped and inwas just wondering, will my lid from my ls1 fit on the new engine.. And also that is my only mod so far so in te future when I purchase more bolt on like exaust, headers.. Ect.. Will I be searching under my car and originL ls1 engine or will I have to search under ls6 cars like ctsv or corvette?

No everything from the ls1 will swap over to the ls6 so any parts you buy for one will go on the other the ls6 differences lay in the cam and heads.

That LS6 will respond very well to a set of nice LT headers and a Fast intake.

I had an f-body with the same setup crack 400rwhp on the dyno I tune on with those mods and it could have driven miss daisy...
