Default Shorty Headers vs Truck Manifolds for Turbo build

This may be a noob question, but what are the advantages or disadvantages of using shorty headers vs the 6.0 Truck Manifolds?

The only one I can think of is looks... Guys have made well over 1000hp on the manifolds, and they are much less likely to crack under the stress.

This has been asked before if you search. I believe another issue besides durability is that you have to modify/move one of the runners on one side to fit.
