Warner throws 3 TDs while Cards' defense takes care of Vikes' big-play offense
I was hoping to have only one loss this season but this was def a loss for the Vikes. I watched about 60% of the game and had to call it a night but I already saw the issues.... The Cards shut down Adrian Peterson which made Brett go to the Air and got 2 INT which is not a big deal but like he said, it was not needed.
Unfortunately the OL and DL needed to show up and neither did. Allen who has been a standout defensive guy had 2 guys on him, which freed up other linemen to make up the diff but no other could capitalize. Rice and Harvin have been doing stellar but if you cant keep down the points and allow big yard plays, and the OL not making holes for a Star RB, then your not going to win the game.
I think this will be a good lesson going into next week. Get it out of the system and not repeat their 1st round lost to the Eagles last yr.
