Default predator question

can I delete(or cut off) the egr system,rear 02s and tm myself without having a custom tune?

TM is taken out when you load the canned tune.
At least, this is what I observe; others have had
some problem getting rid of it w/ o custom tune?
Suppressing SES codes from missing hardware will
require the custom tune to be made.

whats the usual cost of a simple tune?

Some vendors provide it as a free service. Others don't
want to have anything to do with tuning (need special
gear from Diablosport plus experience I think). I believe
RWTD will take on other vendors' customers for a small
(about a hundred bucks) one-time fee and give them
lifetime tune support after that (read this on LS1.com I
think; check the last month's worth of threads here and
on that site? I didn't pay too much attention to the
details since mine was bought through them and I'm
good to go (though I haven't yet taken advantage of it).
Anyway, check whether the distributor you bought from
gives the support for free, first, and if not, check out
the other option.
