Any leads on someone that sells complete LS1 intakes, injectors and fuel rails?
I'm wanting to convert over my 5.3 engine with a LS1 intake and needed a good source to buy this from .....cheap.
I have my eyes on eBay already, any other places....I can't post in the For Sale section yet

I dont know what your definition of cheap is, but I just bought a ls6 intake with 28 pd injectors, fuel rails, 75mm t.b, throttle brackets, bolts, seals, map iac, and t.p.s sensors all brand new never installed from a seller on e-bay for 438.00 dollars shipped. Most people are getting 240 and up just for a bare ls6 intake. He currently has 3 more setups available. Just type ls6 intake into the search, you will find him. Hope this helps!

I wanted the LS1 intake for the cool factor and height clearances, I have a cowl hood so that wouldn't be that big of a deal but was thinking of going back to the stock hood because I like that look better.
I had a few members PM me with intakes but I'm finding out that they may not work with my stock throttle body.
I have the four bolt DBW on my 5.3 engine and was hoping to find an intake that accepts that throttle body.
I also don't want to change anything else, but was reading threads where members had to change water pumps too And also report problems with steam lines or something not lining up (I think that's what I read)
I guess what I'm afraid of is spending the cash and having a domino effect of needing other parts to make this work.
I bought the "How to swap lS1 into anything book" and doing as much research as I can to become an "expert" on this so bear with me guys if I don't undertsand something.

That's what I'm fighting with, I like the idea of having the low end torque over the top end from the LS1 intake. But the LS1 intake "looks better"...especially popping the hood to show it off.

I went with the LS1 intake, injector, rails on my LQ9 due to hood clearances too. Your 3 bolt DBW TB will fit on it fine. If the TB motor is on the passenger side the truck water pump outlet will interfere. I've heard the later escalade L92 pump outlet will clear. I used the LS1 water pump and swapped the truck pulley onto it to maintain the truck accessory spacing.
Dont worry about the steam line, it only requires a slight bend

One thing you may discover is a case of high torque or RPM induced belt slip on the crank and water pump. I have a similar belt wrap on my water pump and power steering which works fine until I push it. Once I run the car hard, I get little bits of rubber dust on the front of the engine - but it doesn't toss belt so I'm not messing with it until the weather gets warm.
