Default New Project. Need help :)

Well, I miss my LS1 haha. Could have told you I would, but she did have to go.

Although, I do now LOVE European Luxury.

My next project:

I'm going to find an early to mid 90's 3 series, or 5 series whichever I come across and let the project begin. The 3 series might be a little easier as it has been done quite a few times, and there are manuals out there to help the project go along smoother.

The 5 series is 1,000lb's heavier, and probably quite a bit harder. There are no manuals out there to help, and everything top to bottom would be full custom.

I really think this would be a sweet swap.

Any thoughts, opinions, and MOST importantly advice on where to find a 3 series donor car for under $1,000

Thanks

Chris

I have a lead on a black 93 4 door with bad motor and m3 front bumper. Guy said it's in pretty good condition, couple other extras nothing crazy. He said he's asking $1,500, but with a blown motor not 100% sure that that would be insane.

Also I have another lead on a 2 door coupe 95 with 280,xxx miles. Bad windshield, but runs fine for $1,700 negotiable. So we'll see I'm keeping my eyes peeled.

I just have to find out if a 2 or 4 door works with the conversion. I don't think that it matters, but Iknow every 3 series coupe that this swap was done too was a 2 door. We'll see
