Default B&M Pro-Stick or Hurst Quarter-stick?

Got a guy offering to trade me either of the two shifters, looking for some answers and opinions...

1. On either do you have to pull the lever to shift into 3rd? i imagine you dont have to from 1-2 just thought i heard somewhere that 2-3 on one of them you have to pull the lever...

2. Any real life experience? Are you using either? How do you like it?

Thanks!

You have to pull the lever on both of them for the 2-3 shift. The B&M has a removable gateplate, so you can change it to a 2 or 3 or 4 speed. The Hurst has a gateplate that's welded in place.
