Default Coil relocation help rx7

so i was messin with the car just checkin stuff and had the coils off and loved how it looked without the coils covering the valve covers. i was thinkin of relocating the coils but have no idea where to. was thinkin of tryin to run them in the car and under the dash but would that be safe?

if i do it i wanna take the coil mounting tabs off and sand them down smooth well besides the lines.

heres some pics of the motor as it sits. didnt get to take any with them off.

You can move them behind the dash, it's been done several times.

While you're at it, might I recommend cleaning up the wiring a bit:

And, relocated coils (not my car, and yes, this is a fully running engine):

Hard to believe anyone would want to bundle up plug wires and run them through a sheet metal fire wall like that.

No grommet either.
