Default drove the lq4 s475 mid engine sand rail today, no pics or vid tho

one of the latest projects has been putting a lq4 in a sand rail. Its a mid engine car with a power glide going to an independent 8.8 ford rear. I did the standard, lq4 with head studs, zo6 cam,60 lb injectors, stock manifolds. I flipped the intake to have short runs to the intercooler, and mounted a 1.10 housng s475 off the frame next to the engine. Very short runs from the exhuast. The 5 inch exhuast is about 10 inches long and pokes right out the side.

Well, it works....................very ..................very ..........very well.

Its on a copy and pasted sd tune from a similar build I did. It weights around 2000 lbs........................and its obvious to me on the very first short drive that it will absolutely be scary fast.

That is all.

^ X99999999! I've wanted to build a rail for a while. It would be the ultimate fun car to drive around where I live. A few miles down they will let you drive on the beach.
