Why is my 01 TA blowing ignition fuses?

Why is my 01 TA blowing ignition fuses? The car has sat without running for 2 months, the other day I went to fire it up, it barely turned over then blew the 50 amp ing. fuse, I put a new fuse in it and tried it again and it blew the fuse as soon as i turned the key without turning over at all. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreiciated.
