What PS pump
I need a f body ps pump, 98-02. I saw a thread somewhere, but can't find it now, that said there are cheaper ps pumps at the part store. In other words, if you ask for an LS1 Camero pump = high price, if you ask for a cavalier or something else, cheaper price. Does anyone have this information? Thanks

Since you have a 5.3 but you were asking about F-body pumps, does that mean you're using F-body brackets? If so, you'll have some alignment issues with your truck crank pulley since it sticks out about 3/4" more. You may want to change to an F-body crank pulley or some guys have spaced out the F-body brackets.
To answer your pump question, ask for an A1 Cardone reman part number 20-900. It fits a bunch of front wheel drive cars like mid-90s Cavaliers, Buick Skylarks, etc. OReilly wants $42.99 plus a $30 core charge. A similar 98-02 Camaro goes for $82.99 plus a $50 core charge. A pulley to ask for is a Dorman part number 300-123. It's a smaller diameter (5-3/16" vs. 6" for a Camaro) and it has "windows" that let you install and remove it without pulling the pulley.

Thanks Geezer, thats the info I was looking for. I bought the engine from some one that gave up their project. It has the Fbody crank pully and I did buy f body brackets. I am putting this in a 73 vette. On the vette forum there is a sticky thread about what people actually used to set up their swaps and many showed to be the f body brackets so I went that way.
