Default switching from power windows and locks to manual

im trying to take weight out of my doors. so i want to switch my power windows and locks to manual. what do i need to do this? do i need different window regulators? can i just take the motors out and put on a crank handle? besides the hole for the window crank, are the door panels different? what needs to be done to switch the locks?

The manual windows weigh the same if not more than the power windows. Like literally within 1 pound, and its an assload of work to swap. I saw a guy swap doors and saved almost no weight at all.

yeah but then you don't have to worry about the motors going bad

its a different regulator. there is a delete panel that goes where the switches are too.

Ive been lookin/searchin this out, even contacted a couple sponsors on the swap, and they've all told me the same thing. The difference in weight is around a pound and the amount of work/parts required just doesnt make it worth it, so Im just gonna leave mine alone......

I found the same result. Not worth the work involved.
