Unhappy ok what did i mess up

ok couple weeks ago i did a roll race maybe going 15 mph i have a stock 4l60e in my 99ss, well i downshifted it to 1st and when i went to 2nd it went boom i broke the rear end and it threw the torque arm mount off and this was on street tires, well i got new rearend in today but when i drove around block i have no 3rd or 4th its like if i put it in N and when im at a dead stop and i put in overdrive its like its in N but when i put it in 1st it will go and it will go in 2nd also but not 3rd and 4th so is it real bad or did i cause a chain reaction when i broke my rear , any one have any idea what it could be??? thanks

Default trans

hi, ya i broke what i hope is only the trans pump a couple nights ago. i was taking off from a red-light and it went to shift from first to second. it was like it went into neutral and i hit the rev limiter. i have no gears though. we checked the input shaft, dropped the pan and there is no metal so am hoping its just the pump. good luck. i know what your going through.

When you have a rear end failure many times it will take out either the input sprag or the low/roller clutch in the process. In anycase its time for a trans.
