Corvette Performance - NAPA brakes for c5z?

I've got an 03 c5z and it's about time for brakes. I was thinking ceramic pads and some premium rotors from my local NAPA. I see on sites like pfyc.com there are a lot of options for pads and rotors, but honestly what's the benefit in buying from a site like pfyc.com (or other corvette online performance part sites) and just going with something from an auto parts store?
Do I get more braking power or longevity? I'm not going to be tracking the car, this is my daily driver.
Appreciate the opinions!

the main difference is the price gouge, corvette specific sites charge a premium. at napa a corvette is just another car they carry parts for. i would get ceramic pads from your local parts store that will give you a lifetime warranty like o reilys and then get some slotted and or cross drilled rotors. Will the last longer? oh prolly not but while your there might get somewhat of a cosmetic upgrade at the least. just my 2cents otherwise get some rotors at the parts store and be done with it

Most of the guys that track their C5Z's use the NAPA rotors because they're inexpensive, but they're OEM quality. The slotted and drilled rotors look good, but they all crack eventually if the car is tracked. For the money, NAPA rotors are the way to go. I think they even offer slotted (not drilled) rotors, which are fine for street use as well.

Nothing wrong with NAPA rotors at all. Good quality and even better price!

The napa rotors used to be a bargain, thats not so much the case anymore. Check rock auto, they usually have inexpensive rotors, I usually go through a couple sets a year R/R my car. Also ATE rotors are an expensive option

I use the napa ceramic pads in front. The salesman told me the hotter they get the more they grip and he wasn't lying.
