General LSX Automobile Discussion - best j/y mods for 5.3 truck engine?

Ive heard the 6.0 heads will fit,whats the best bang for your buck for this engine?cam,ect

The 5.3 heads flow pretty well and with the smaller combustion chambers increase the CR. Cool thing is you can bore it out to the LS1 bore and have a high CR motor. Im fixing to do that myself so we shall see how great it works lol. But yes the 6.0 heads will fit. All the LS based motors interchange heads along with lots of other parts. What is your goal for the car? Street driven? Mileage? Auto or stick? Lots of factors affect the components for your motor.
