It was really disappointing to watch. I am surprised the fight lasted as long as it did though. After the beat down in round 1, I thought it would be over in number 2.

I didn't watch the fight, but I'm glad to hear dirty sanchez lost. Honestly he's good for 1 round, then he's done. Out of gas, and out of talent. Good to hear penn put a whopping on him, would have been even better if he let it go a couple more rounds, and made it look really ugly, then make him QUIT with a submission, only after beating him to a pulp. I wonder if that idiot still thinks's he's the champ
As for the florian/guida fight... how did guida lose? Only florian fight I remember, is the one that he pulled the dirty elbow on the top of joe stevenson's head, and cut him so bad he had so much blood in his face he couldn't see the whole damn fight... if guida lost because of that, it's a bum deal and they should have done to florian the same that they did to jon jones a while back... disqualified him. But if it was a legit fight and florian won, good for him. I just know he will pull the dirty elbow if he gets the chance.

Penn is good, but he OVER the YEARS I have watched him has the same issue of Cockiness. So that goes to show. But he does have the tools and ability to win fights.
The most remarkible thing about Penn is what is normal weight is and how he looks and how is cuts down for the bout, 2 totally different looking people.
Is it me or is UFC pumping out a PPV every 2-3 weeks? I have not followed nearly as much as I can.

yea that cut was bad!
and if u watched the Sanchez vs Guida fight it was much closer then it appears in the highlights. sanchez had those two flurrys (the head kick and the upper cuts) other then that Guida controlled the entire fight with ground and pound. Guida is still my favorite fighter but i do admit he got toyed with by Ken Flo

regardless of what happened in round 1, Sanchez did not show that he is in the same league as Penn. Penn out boxed him, out grappled him. Penn didn't have a scratch on him. Sanchez did not come to fight, he took Penn way too lightly
